Transits and Tones is a new a journal style project where I use the current astrology as a jumping-off point for musical improvisation. Some improvisations explore different schematics for correlating the planets, zodiac signs, houses and aspects to musical pitch, mode, key and rhythm. Other improvisations take a more intuitive/emotional approach, trying to capture the feeling of the particular active archetypes.
